Job Description Summary:

Primary Location: Tokyo, Japan

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Reports into: Director, JSK Marketing Finance Service Delivery

At The Coca Cola Company, our purpose is to refresh the world and make a difference. We are a community of people who believe in creating value through innovation, inclusion, and collaboration. As part of the Global Finance Hub — reporting to the Director, Marketing Finance for Japan & South Korea (JSK) — the Senior Manager, Direct Marketing Investment plays a critical role in connecting marketing performance with financial insight to drive sustainable growth.

The Coca-Cola Company is looking for a dynamic, highly strategic, and results-driven Senior Manager of Japan Direct Marketing Investment. Serving as a trusted right-hand partner to the Director, JSK Marketing Finance Service Delivery, this key role is responsible for driving and operationalizing the end-to-end Budgeting, Forecasting, and Strategic Resource Allocation processes for Direct Marketing Investments (DMI) in Japan.

The ideal candidate will bridge high-level leadership vision with rigorous financial execution—translating strategic intents from the Director and key commercial/marketing counterparts into actionable financial models, robust rolling forecasts, and data-driven investment strategies via SAP S/4Hana and advanced analytics platforms.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Drive the end-to-end annual budgeting and continuous rolling forecast processes for DMI, serving as the core engine that turns strategic concepts into actionable financial plans.
  • Act as a trusted right-hand partner to the Director, translating strategic vision, high-level intents, and complex business scenarios into robust financial models, actionable roadmaps, and executed plans.
  • Synthesize complex financial and forecasting data into clear, actionable insights and presentations for leadership to guide strategic investment decisions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of core DMI transactions and operational workflows; provide flexible operational support to your teammate to ensure seamless business continuity.
  • Champion financial best practices within the Japan & Korea Operating Unit, driving continuous improvement in processes and systems.

What We are Looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of progressive financial planning, analysis, and strategic budgeting experience within a global organization, preferably in FMCG/CPG.
  • Proficient in using SAP S/4Hana and other relevant financial applications and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate abstract concepts and high-level strategy into actionable financial models, robust rolling forecasts, and strategic insights.
  • Demonstrated track record of serving as a strategic partner to leadership, driving complex financial processes, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders (MSP).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, taking full ownership of complex financial agendas from ambiguity to execution.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Japanese (Native level), English (Fluent / Advanced Business level)

Skills Requirements

  • Strategic Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Rolling Forecasting
  • End-to-End Financial Operations Accountability & Execution
