This position is within the HR organization of the Communications & Energy Company at Rakuten Group, Inc. The Communications & Energy Company oversees businesses such as Rakuten Mobile and Rakuten Energy. Our HR team provides comprehensive support not only to our own division but also to various other businesses and services, including Rakuten’s core operations.

Position Details

You will be responsible for executing performance evaluation operations and supporting the administration of the evaluation system for the businesses under your remit.

Specifically, you will handle the following:

• Formulation and Implementation of Evaluation Policies:

Organizing and rolling out company-wide and divisional evaluation policies and reflecting them in practical operations.

• Overall Management of Evaluation Operations:

Managing the progress of evaluations, budget control, and overall coordination across the company.

• Process Improvement and Systematization:

Introducing tools to streamline evaluation tasks and establishing operational frameworks.

• HRBP Coordination and Support:

Providing tools to HRBPs (HR Business Partners) of each company and offering hands-on support to ensure smooth evaluation processes.

• System Administration:

Facilitating the smooth implementation of company-wide initiatives within each organization.

Work Environment

Management Department , Communications & Energy Company

The department consists of 20 members (covering accounting, general affairs, HR, etc.), with approximately 7 members dedicated to HR.

Mandatory Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in any HR-related field.

• No prior experience in performance evaluation is required.

Desired Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of performance management/evaluation.
• Business-level English proficiency.
