Facilities Cybersecurity Integration EngineerThe Opportunity:

The Facilities Cybersecurity Integration Engineer will support Marine Corps facilities design by assisting in integrating cybersecurity, network infrastructure, operational technology considerations, facility requirements, and installation support planning across the Pacific theater.

This position will assess the cyber and communications implications of facility projects, support secure, resilient infrastructure design, coordinate among facilities, information technology, cybersecurity, operations, and vendor stakeholders, and develop technical documentation, risk assessments, and recommendations that enable informed investment and force design decisions.

The engineer will ensure that facilities supporting mission operations, airfields, housing, logistics, utilities, command and control, and other installation functions are designed and sustained with appropriate cybersecurity controls, network resiliency, safety, and continuity of operations considerations.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, network operations, information assurance, infrastructure engineering, facilities technology, or DoD or public sector environments
  • 4+ years of experience monitoring, investigating, documenting, and escalating cybersecurity events, endpoint security, network monitoring, or security operations tools
  • 4+ years of experience with enterprise networking and infrastructure technologies, including assisting with Cisco switching or routing environments, firewall policy management, network traffic analysis, VoIP, Windows or Linux administration, Active Directory, or NIPR or SIPR connected environments
  • 4+ years of experience with developing technical assessments, network or facility impact analyses, standard operating procedures, risk documentation, and executive ready briefings
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and risk management practices NIST Cybersecurity Framework controls, DoD 8140 requirements, security documentation, and compliance assessment activities
  • Ability to coordinate with facilities personnel, cybersecurity teams, network engineers, installation operations staff, contractors, and vendors
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with supporting military installations, installation management organizations, civil engineering squadrons, public works departments, airfields, logistics facilities, utility infrastructure, or overseas or contingency facilities
  • Experience with facility force design, installation planning, Military Construction planning, facility condition assessment, asset management, master planning, critical infrastructure protection, or mission assurance processes
  • Experience with industrial control systems, operational technology, building automation systems, physical security systems, utility control networks, or cybersecurity considerations for facility connected technologies
  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level III or equivalent level Certification, such as CompTIA SecurityX, CASP+, CISSP, CISM, CySA+, PenTest+, or related Cybersecurity Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
