How Job Search Works
What is in the index, how it is ordered, and how to ask for a change.
Where Listings Come From
Every listing is collected from an employer's own careers page. Sources are re-checked daily, and a role that comes down is marked as no longer listed. Permanent roles only: contract, temporary and dispatch postings are excluded before anything reaches the index. AirTA does not accept listings from employers or agencies.
How Results Are Ordered
The default order is the date a listing was first collected, newest first. Nothing else weights that order. You can re-sort by job title, and by salary where salary is shown, using the column headers.
Ordering by Your Own Preferences
A signed-in candidate can also view listings ordered by how many of the preferences they chose each listing states. That count is their own list applied to what the listing itself says; nothing else weights it, no listing is hidden from it, and every listing stays searchable here in the default order.
Ordering in the Candidate Database and Scouts
In the candidate database, results are ordered by the date a candidate joined, newest first. A company or agency can instead order them by the date a candidate last updated their preferences. Companies and agencies can filter only on the fields a candidate has chosen to show. On a candidate's Scouts page, unanswered scouts come first, ordered by how many of the candidate's own preferences each one states; answered ones follow, newest message first. Promoted placements never change any of these orders.
No Employer Pays for Position
No employer pays to appear in results, to rank higher, or to be excluded. Paid placements exist elsewhere on AirTA and are labelled where they appear; they never enter this ordering.
Dates on Each Listing
Each listing shows two dates. Collected is the day we first saw it on the employer's page. Last checked is the most recent day we confirmed it was still there.
Requesting a Correction or Removal
Employers can ask us to correct or remove any listing. Email support@airta.jp with the company name and the listing, and we will action it.
Role information is sourced from companies' public careers pages. Listed companies are not affiliated with AirTA.
