Polish Localization Expert

Job duties

As a Polish Localization Expert, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all assets localized from English to Polish meet Capcom’s quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate text from English into Polish or check translated text to produce top-quality localizations
• Create and manage Polish language assets, such as glossaries, translation memory and style guides
• Track, evaluate, and fix linguistic bugs as required
• Provide feedback to Localization Directors on culturally sensitive issues
• Propose improvements to workflow process for optimal translation quality
• Work with other localization members on team objectives

Requirements

• Native speaker of Polish
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Polish and English
• Have experience in localization (preferably in the gaming industry)
• Ability to review, create and adapt processes to focus on efficiency
• Be able to work with a team
• Be competent in self-management
• Be able to follow deadlines
• Be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects when necessary
• Broad knowledge of current cultural sensitivities in Polish-speaking regions
• An interest and passion for video games and the game industry
• Japanese language ability is a benefit but not required
