As a Sr. Manager of Production Controls at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….

Overview

This role is based at the Tochigi Plant, a core site of B. Braun’s CoE Infusion and Pain Therapy. You will plan production for injection needles based on global site requirements and manage the manufacturing schedule and overseas shipments to ensure stable supply.

By working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will support smooth operations and synchronized supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of products worldwide. As a key member of the plant’s leadership team, you will also contribute to process establishment, shop‑floor management, and organizational development. Depending on performance and suitability, development toward a Senior Manager role may be considered.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop production plans based on demand from overseas sites and ensure timely execution.
• Maintain close communication with overseas sites, and drive local initiatives aligned with global targets.
• Collaborate with overseas teams to establish processes that support production volume targets, including capacity expansion and efficiency improvement plans.
• Assess subcontractor production capacity and implement measures to ensure alignment with production requirements.
• Manage product and component information to ensure smooth production operations.
• Propose necessary production equipment and investments based on mid‑term plans provided by overseas sites.
• Promote standardization and optimization of production planning and inventory management processes.
• Drive process improvements for cost reduction and quality enhancement (delivery control, inventory management, warehouse operations, lead‑time reduction, etc.).
• Apply appropriate problem‑solving methods to address and resolve issues related to production planning.
• Manage and develop team members in the Production Controls and Logistics Management sections to achieve departmental goals.

What you will bring to the team:

• Strong experience working with English documentation and the ability to communicate daily with global headquarter and overseas sites.
• Proven experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships in Japan, APAC and Global.
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with key focus on production planning and control processes.
• Leadership / People management experience.
• Hands-on experience with ERP-systems (SAP desirable).
• PC skills: proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
