Japan Research Institute

The Japan Research Institute is the think tank and systems arm of the Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, which holds its shares. It runs a research department, an incubation centre and a research and consulting division alongside the IT work that makes up most of its hiring, building and running systems for group banks and corporate clients. It works from head offices in Tokyo and Osaka.
